"Some originals are decent, but it’s hit or miss"
I started using iflix mainly to check out their original shows. A few of them are fun and easy to get into, but then some feel kind of cheap or like they were rushed out. It has good ideas sometimes, but it doesn’t always follow through.
I’d probably give it 3 stars overall. It’s not terrible, and I don’t regret trying it, but it’s not something I feel pulled back to every day. If they put more effort into the writing and came out with stronger originals, I’d definitely use it more.

"Price has gotten a bit too high"
I used to be fine with the subscription, but now... it just feels like too much. For what I use it for, I can’t really justify the price anymore. Kind of disappointing, honestly.

"Ads have gotten really frustrating"
iflix is still okay for watching shows, and the app usually works fine, but the ads lately have been way too much. I understand a free service needs ads, but when they keep popping up and interrupting the flow, it ruins the experience. The content is decent, so it’s not all bad, but I do feel like users should get some kind of compensation or at least fewer ads for putting up with this. Right now it’s just okay, not great.

"I know not everyone cares about local shows..."
I know not everyone cares about local shows, but that’s the main reason I signed up. The selection feels really limited, and a lot of what is there seems old or kind of random. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect more local titles, but right now there just isn’t much that makes me want to keep watching.

"Still got charged after canceling"
I canceled my account and still ended up getting charged twice. As someone who tries to stay on top of subscriptions and budgeting, that was really frustrating. I reached out to support expecting at least some help, but they basically did nothing to fix it.
"Video quality is disappointing"
I gave iflix a try and watched a few shows, but the video quality was bad. It kept getting blurry even though my internet was working fine, and you’d think decent playback would be a basic thing for a streaming app.
It also buffered here and there, then stayed stuck in low quality for way too long. I’m not expecting anything fancy, just a normal watchable stream, but this was more annoying than relaxing.

"Still waiting to hear back from support"
I reached out to support a few days ago because I needed help with an issue, i’m still sitting here waiting for any kind of response. I get that places can be busy and not every message gets answered instantly, but after several days with absolutely no reply at all, it starts to feel frustrating. I kept checking my email and hoping someone would at least acknowledge the request, but nothing came through. Overall, it’s been a really annoying experience and definitely not the kind of service I expected

"Free trial didn’t really feel worth it"
I tried the free trial hoping it would help me decide if it was worth paying for, but it ended quickly. The promo didn’t really save much either, so for the price, I couldn’t justify keeping it.

"Doesn’t work on my devices"
I signed up thinking I’d be able to watch on my TV and tablet, but it’s been a frustrating experience. Half the time the app tells me my device isn’t supported, and other times it just sits there and won’t load properly.
I tried updating everything, restarting, and even reinstalling the app, but nothing really changed. It works on my phone sometimes, but that’s not how I want to watch shows. When I looked for help, it felt like I was just another ticket number instead of an actual customer with a basic issue.

"Had a bad feeling right away"
I should’ve trusted my instinct with this app. The videos keep freezing, it takes forever to load, and sometimes it just closes on its own. Frustrating to use.

"Logging in is way more stressful than it should be"
I just wanted to sit down and watch my shows, but half the time I can’t even get into the app. It keeps logging me out, then tells me my password is wrong even though I know it isn’t. When I try to reset it, the email either takes forever or never shows up. On top of that, the reminders are so aggressive, like constant nags for stuff while I’m already annoyed and just trying to log in. Really frustrating experience overall.

"Offline downloads let me down"
I was actually happy I could download shows before my trip, thinking I was all set. Then once I was offline, none of them would play and the app kept asking for an internet connection. Super frustrating after planning ahead, and it made the whole feature feel kind of pointless...

"Heads up: the subs and dubs are really frustrating"
Just a warning for anyone thinking about watching here: the subtitles and dubbing are kind of a mess. I tried a few different shows, and the subs were either delayed, way off, or just didn’t match what was happening. Some of the dubbing also sounded really flat and awkward, like it didn’t fit the scene at all. It got annoying fast, and I ended up giving up

"Search could use some work"
I want to be fair because the app does have some useful stuff, but the search really hasn’t been helpful for me. The recommendations feel hit or miss, and when I try searching directly, the results are often even less relevant. It makes it harder to find what I’m actually looking for.

"Feels like it was put together carelessly"
I had a hard time finding anything. The navigation feels messy, like nobody really took the time to organize it properly, and I got lost way too fast. It comes across as careless and makes the whole experience frustrating
